The species Cosavirus eaustrali
(formerly named Cosavirus E) contains two genotypes,
cosavirus E1 and E2. Cosavirus E2 appears to be a
recombinant, having 2B to the 3' end of the genome derived from cosavirus D (Kapusinszky
et al., 2012).
