Two novel, but related, picornaviruses have been found in ducks in China (Li et al., 2020; Li et al., 2021).

They are both currently known as duck picornavirus. My suggested name for this candidate genus and species is "Chidupivirus" and "Chidupivirus A", respectively (name derived from Chinese duck picornavirus).
